Help me get rid of Hootle please

I think it’s from crown of the pale dawn chapter 2. I saw a red exclamation quest marker in Ratle while there and accidentally clicked it. I had autoplay on and walked away to the bathroom. I came back and I was in front of Asclepia Temple and hootle following me around. He’s so annoying with the hoots and I can’t find anywhere where I am in the quest and no idea how to get rid of him

I been googling for the last hour and watching guides on YouTube but none of them seem to have hootle following them around so I don’t know where I am in the questline. I am so annoyed please help

Thank you so much in advance.
