Clean GMT crystal swap to latest VSF — anyone done it?

Curious if anyone here has swapped their Clean GMT crystal for the latest VSF GMT crystal.

Main goal isn’t so much clarity, but to slightly reduce the crystal height — the stock Clean xtal sits a bit high to my eye. For those who’ve done the swap, was it a straight fit or did it require a different gasket or any additional work?

Also, where are you sourcing VSF GMT crystals these days — TD, parts dealer, or watchmaker route?

Appreciate any firsthand feedback before I go down the mod path.
