Do I try to repair or get something fresh?
The warranty on my Legion Gen 5 ran out ages ago, and it's been slowly falling apart since then. Battery life's down to an hour, it runs super hot despite the fans being clean, and 20% of the keyboard is failing - the W key is completely unresponsive. This week, the motherboard finally failed (the second time this has happened since I bought this laptop) and it's looking like 150 USD just to get it running again, so I'm wondering if I should cut my losses and get a new laptop with a new warranty. The Gen 5 was only struggling with a handful of games even near the end, so I think I'll be fine with something equivalent to a Gen 6, which should only put me back 700-900 USD.
(If you do think I should buy a new laptop, I'll take suggestions for brands that aren't Lenovo. Had some bad experiences with the warranty there)
