To pro-Russian socialists, what do you make of Trump’s relationship with Russia?

Many socialists support Russia and view the US/NATO as evil. However, Trump is the most pro-Russian president in a while, praising Putin and pushing Ukraine to make concessions for a quick peace. How do you reconcile support for Russia while opposing Trump? Or do you think Trump is still somehow a pro-Ukraine president and imperialist who is against Russia?
