eBay Poster/Seller
Hey everyone,
I need someone to help me sell a large number of collectible items on eBay. It is a personal collection that I need to trim down. The main job is to photograph the item(s), write a blurb abut them, probably research the best price(s) to sell them for, and post them on eBay. How and where to photograph the items can be agreed upon later.
- The person needs to be familiar with eBay, preferably from a seller perspective. The selling account already exists for more than 15 years, and has a 100% rating. We are not starting from scratch.
- I will pay by the hour or by item posted. If all goes well, a percentage on top of the fixed hourly rate is possible.
- I need someone who lives or can commute to Arlington at least once a month for in-person meetings, especially at the beginning.
- Although it is a freelance gig, and it may only take 5-15 hours a week, the job will be kind of long term because of the amount of items to be sold. I expect 6-12 months for the main collection, and probably a couple more for other smaller ones. Bear in mind, there might be a couple of weeks without work if the already posted items don’t sell.
- After the initial period of introduction and setting the procedures in a way that suits both of us, the job will be almost totally remote without any time restrictions. It is basically some tasks that need to be done in a week, regardless if they were done in one day or seven.
Please ask any question by posting it here if it is a general one, or by DMing me directly for specific ones.
Cheers!
