Took a break - starting 3rd and final IUI

Hello! My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility last year. I did 2 IUIs last summer, back-to-back, after TTC for over a year at that point. First one I had 1 great-sized follicle, and the second one I had 2. They both failed. I needed a break after the second one failed, and I'm so glad I took one. I started seeing a perinatal therapist and really worked through the pain and grief that is TTC. I highly recommend that for those struggling - this is really difficult.

My husband and I agreed that after a few months of a break, we were ready to try again. We consulted our fertility doctor last month, and she recommended 1 more IUI before starting IVF. I'm cautiously hopeful this time around - it'll probably be right around Valentine's Day🤞❤️
