Sent to shadowqueue in bullet?

Has anyone else experienced this? I was playing 1 min bullet when suddenly the queue times became way longer (~1 minute+). This wasn't the weirdest part however, nearly every opponent I got matched against had an account that was less than 1 month old, many accounts having been created the same day. I played against pretty much the same few "players" for around half an hour before I took a break. When I came back queue was normal, however many of the players I played against had been banned for cheating? Is this some sick punishment for aborting to many games? Did I get put in some cheaterqueue? I have played over 20 000 games on the site and never experienced anything like it, was quite absurd. Has anyone else ever experienced anything similiar?
