I really hope we see a more emotionless sinner trying for redemption in future.
I've mentioned this before but I just think it'd be really interesting if in Hazbin we see someone get redeemed who isn't actually great with empathy or guilt but still is willing to try to be a better person purely through actions,
as I'm not sure if this is a Hot take a cold take or simply a perfectly Lukewarm one
( personally how I prefer drinking my Hot chocolates lol as if they're too cold then it kinda ruins it but if they are too Hot then it just kinda blocks out the taste and burns your tongue )
but personally I don't put much stock simply on guilt given its something that is ultimately out of our hands and decided for us by our Brains and some may literally not even be able to feel it to the same extent as some others,
so I would kinda like the show to explore this a little bit of how stuff like that may not actually be necessarily for everyone and really everyone's personal redemption can work a little differently based on who they are,
like imagine how fun it could be seeing someone like Charlie who most would agree is a pretty emotional person first and foremost having to try and help someone who just sees the world and morality based entirely on logic rather than emotion
so while they have shown up at the Hotel to make an effort she still needs to try and logically make the case for why its better for them to lead a none Harmful life and why their previous actions were technically not the best most efficient way to go about getting the result,
this kinda person wouldn't be a sadist like Alastor or Val but at the same time you wouldn't be able to appeal to a sense of empathy or regret either as it would be mostly foreign to them
so I think it could be an interesting and fun challenge for Charlie and Co.
