Wild concept, but what if Charles fights remotely by astral projecting an illusion of himself. Like you have a main astral form where most of his value is and a physical form in a wheelchair which is weaker and your goal is to keep it disengaged and as far away from combat as possible.

Like first you need to find a good place on the map to hide his physical body, like Rocket beacon or Penny mines (but has to be outside of spawn) and then you summon a floating astral projection of himself, which you need to maneuver over to the fighting area to help your team.

Once the illusion gets killed, you get reverted back to his physical body where you have to summon it again and walk to the mission area again, it's kind of like a respawn without him actually dying. So being closer to where the fight is rewards you by shorter travel time for the astral projection, but then your physical body will be easier to detect by enemies so that's a takeaway.

Ofc the way to kill him for real is for divers to find his physical body and kill it (attacking his physical body automatically alerts him that he is being attacked and you can break the illusion and revert back to his physical body to try to defend yourself. Maybe give him 1 sec of invincibility as he reverts back just so he doesn't get one-shot, but this physical form will be weaker none the less.

Now obviously this would sound OP if we didn't have Daredevil in the game who will be a hard counter to Xavier since he can detect him way easier than other divers, but it's still good play to keep Daredevil focused on you and far away from combat, especially when battle takes place far away from your spawn area. And 1 hard counter isn't such a bad thing, this game is all about counter picks, Xavier would excel in teams without any dive heroes.

Idk I'm open to hearing your thoughts and potential problems this might bring and maybe find a viable solution to how it would actually work. I just think this kind of play style would embody Charles perfectly as he's never on the actual battlefield.
