I’m so confused XP

Hello all

I’m really new to all of this, so if this comes across as rambly or weird, I apologize. As the title suggests, I’m very confused about this

I guess the big thing I’m wondering about is if this even counts as an OS identity, or a subcategory, or if it’s just a kink or whatever

I very recently—like, two nights ago—started to feel a sort of attraction to celestial bodies. I’ve always had a love for and fascination with outer space, but it feels different now. Primarily, the attraction is to black holes and nebulae, but stars, galaxies and quasars are up there too. I’m not strictly objectum at all. I consider myself asexual and fictosexual, but I do feel romantic attraction for people as well, and I’m in a long term relationship at the moment and have been for a little over 1.5 years now.

So I’m just confused all around. Astrophillia is a thing on the paraphillia masterlist, but the only other person I’ve come across with the same feelings is a poster from twelve years ago, so you can imagine that my options for help are pretty limited

If anyone has any advice or just thoughts in general, I’d really appreciate a little help. I’m really confused and admittedly a bit distressed. My partner is in the know and hasn’t reacted at all poorly, even encouraging me to explore this new facet of myself. I just want to hear from anybody who’s been in my position before
