This makes sense to me

Has anyone heard the research that strongly supports that schizophrenia is a fractured mind's way of processing its own internal voice. There's something called 'corollary discharge' that refers too a person with schizophrenia that fails to filter out sound and therefore recognise their own. Then causing the brain to create an external voice which is a reflection of their internal monologue. This research also strongly supports that the fractured sense of self and identity can be a result of trauma, particularly when young and the brain is still cultivating its identity. Also that the characteristics or symptoms can be so bizarre within schizophrenia because they are your brains way of processing traumatic memories, like how your dreams can be technically delusion in reality, but is your brains way of the subconcious trying to bring forward and process/organise memories.

This really rings true to me, and just makes sense. For so long I was convinced the voices were real, in the sence of 'invisible nasty spiritual beings' that were out to get me. But now I feel I am glad I can see it clearer. Its just my damaged brain 🧠 💔

Who feels the same? Or not? :)
