Seeking advice: Re-applying after being on the "waitlist" 

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice from the community.

I recently went through the Specialist interview process at Apple . I received excellent feedback, but since the process was already at an advanced stage, I was told I’d be placed on a 'waiting list' for the next opening.

A new Specialist position was posted this past Monday, and I applied immediately today. However, it’s been a few days since the post and I haven’t heard back yet. I already have a direct contact with the People Operations Planner and a Leader Genius from that store.

My question is: In Apple's culture, should I proactively reach out to them now to reinforce my interest, or is it better to wait for the system to process my new application? I don’t want to seem over-anxious, but I’m very eagle to join the team.

Any insights on how you’d handle this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
