the only way ____ can win
(rob)
choosing eric was an interesting choice. to me the eric vs. stephen was really a choice between choosing one of your strongest allies take to the end of the game, or choosing a faithful with heat on them to sacrifice them.
i’m not sure he made the most beneficial choice, but i think it is consistent with his character and gameplay (what we have seen of it) so far. he just wants to win.
he is smart enough to know he’s going to get some heat, he even said something like, “it won’t be long before people start connecting the dots”. what we don’t really get to see is how strong the social relationships between the players are. rob clearly has a lot of people trusting him and who are on his side (eric’s reaction to finding him out illustrates this). the Only chance he has is to lean heavily into the people who trust him. if youve seen other country’s traitors, you know this is an extremely powerful advantage. traitors have won who i thought would never make it ever because of their social relationships.
so the question really is who do they take to the fire of truth. who do you think are the best choices?
stephen needs to go (rob asked him to leave him alone with candiace to talk, and candiace mentioned rob’s name to him), dorinda can too, natalie will get herself banished so he doesn’t need to worry about her. johnny will also get himself banished i believe.
final should be: rob, eric, tara, maura… that’s all i have so far. thoughts?
