"Fast Times" was the second single and music video from Emails I Can't Send, still several months before the album was actually announced. The previous music video, "Skinny Dipping," ended with a scene of Sabrina appearing on a motorcycle, hinting at what would become this music five months later. The spy/action narrative of this video is inspired by movies like Charlie's Angels and Kill Bill.
