My Iontophoresis App: I'm using it for 3 years, maybe you will too :)

A couple of screens before I write more about the app:

For the past 3 years, I’ve been tracking my iontophoresis treatments with an app I built for myself.

I kept forgetting whether I should do ionto on a given day or not, so the app tells me. That’s what the “SHOULD” indicator is for — and the red dot means I should’ve done ionto today (which… yeah, I didn’t).

Protocol #1 is my current setup: 7 sessions within the last 14 days, 12–15 mA, 3+3 minutes.

You can select different protocols from a list, and the app automatically calculates today’s status based on the selected protocol.

Why bother?

  1. It’s not rocket science — you could use Excel or something similar. But for me, this is much more convenient: quick logging, automatic calculations, and all my data from the last few years in one place, ready to analyze if needed.
  2. Once a protocol gets even slightly complicated, it becomes increasingly annoying to constantly calculate whether you should do a treatment or not. My protocol isn’t very complex, but I still found it annoying to calculate manually.
  3. I think this could be useful for tracking which protocols are actually the most popular and commonly used.
  4. It’s a website, so you can add it to your smartphone home screen :)

Data & privacy

The version I could publish in 1–2 days wouldn’t store any personal data. Each user would get a randomly generated ID, and all logs would be stored under that ID.

No account, no login. Just don’t share your ID and your data stays private. I would technically see the IDs, but there’s no way for me to know who you are, because you never provide any personal information.

There would be an export feature, and probably an import feature too — so if you already have your data in Excel, you’d be able to import it here.

So… would anyone here be interested?

Making a version that’s not just for me takes a bit of work, so I’d love to know if this would actually be useful for someone else :)
