Someone asked me to switch because I had too much damage in stats
Hello everyone, I have a question. I am a Support main and a couple of days ago I played a game as Ana. It wasn’t going too bad, but at a certain point one of my teammate asked me to switch. I asked them why and the answer was “too much damage for Ana”. I had 2k damage done by the end of both rounds. I didn’t switch and we won but I’m open to every feedback. I know that to receive a good feedback here I should show a replay or something. Unfortunately I don’t have it but is there an unwritten rule of “too damage is bad” for Ana players? I mean, I think 2k isn’t a big number per se (and that damage is depending by the match) but also that generally Ana isn’t Mercy and that a hit here and there helps to make space and press the enemy team when healing isn’t needed.
As a Support Main I’m not super invested in doing damage. I know that healing and supporting has the priority and this is actually what I like about this role.
What do you think?
