Error during Sign up/sign in

I downloaded GTA V Enhanced from the Xbox app on my PC using a 14-day Game Pass trial. The game downloaded successfully, but when I try to sign in or sign up for a Rockstar Games account, I always get the error:

“Sorry, we are unable to handle your request at this time. (#1.500.7)”

I tried signing in through both the game launcher and the Rockstar website, but the same error appears. I am not using any VPN. How can I fix this issue?
