Open LFA link to install esim

Randomly, for no reason today my eSim was evidently deleted - all the Cellular settings are greyed out (Iphone 12) - they sent me a LFA link to re-install the esim but I cannot seem to open this LFA link - tried double clicking it, tried pasting in Safari, etc. Support says to get a physical sim but none of this explains why 1) the eSIM just magically vanished and 2) Why I can't install the new sim from the LFA: style link. Is there a way to open this link in the Visible app? Such a weird, out of the blue thing to happen - it feels like there is more going on here
