In 3 mo, sold to 200+ restaurants, scaled Brew to projected $1.2M ARR, & received 500k+ funding offers at $7-10M valuation.

[blank] Medical - Paid Mechanical Engineering R&D Intern

Youngest intern at [blank]: a medical device start-up designing catheters for blood clot removal. Ran FDA testing on latest catheter - FDA used my data to certify the catheter for human-use. Designed a study on silicone as a seal, testing how curing methods affect silicone’s sealing strength; catheters now use silicone seals cured w my method. Used SolidWorks & resin 3D-printers to design a heat-shrink cutter to rapidly produce pieces; my tool was adopted for all catheter assembly. Return offer

[blank] Machine Works - Paid Machinist Intern

Sole apprentice to the head machinist at a fast-paced machine shop specializing in prototypes for medical device start-ups. At 17, I manufactured thousands of unique parts used in medical R&D, human clinical trials, & blood clot removal devices. I was trusted to conduct critical quality control inspections on these parts to maintain the shop’s FDA certification. Received a return offer.

[blank] Robotics - Mechanical Engineering Team Lead

At [blank] Robotics, a garage-based youth-run FRC team, I utilized a math-centered design method to design a ring launching turret, testing at 96% accuracy - After, I secured $300k from Apple/Genentech/Slack/Google/Nvidia. Result: team ranked 8th in the World (#8/3300) in FRC; Placed #1 in California, Arizona, & Idaho State Championships.

1967 Mustang Passion Project - Sole Restorer of 1967 Mustang

At 13, I began a 5-yr 1967 Mustang restoration project. I researched for 2 yrs via YouTube, repair manuals, & online forums (1000+ hr). At 15, I bought a 1967 Mustang shell missing engine/wiring/brakes/suspension. Independently, I restored it to road legal condition in my garage.

Purdue Crew - Men’s Heavyweight Crew Walk-on

Walk-on to Purdue Men’s Heavyweight Crew despite no prior sports experience. Improved 2k time from 8:02 to 6:31min (within D1 range), lost 35lbs in 4 months (225 to 195), & ran 2 miles to practice daily. Invited to live in 1 of 3 spots at the Purdue Crew house by graduating varsity for embodying team culture

Boy Scouts - Senior Patrol Leader; Eagle Scout Candidate; 12 Year Member

Post-COVID, our troop fractured into age & gender based cliques. I ran for SPL to reunite it. After election, I implemented the nation's first co-SPL model, appointing a female lead alongside me to exemplify inclusion. I restructured patrols with mixed-age, co-ed groups to break cliques & introduced patrol yells, flags, & competitions to build unity. I organized monthly backpacking trips & established rotating roles so younger Scouts could gain leadership experience.

Essays:

Why Transfer: 9/10 - Written with my girlfriend who goes to Stanford and wrote for the LA times. About how founding my company showed me that computational mathematics is my path + how Stanford is the only school that combines entrepreneurship and STEM in a way that it would make sense for me not to drop out and pursue my company full time. Very persuasive argument.

Additional Information: 8/10 - Essay about living with my bipolar abusive father and running my household during high school.

Letters of Rec:

Internship Boss: 10/10 (“Best intern I ever had”)

Entrepreneurship Professor: 10/10 (I mean this ones pretty self explanatory)

Differential Equations Professor: 6/10 (eh knew him kind of, good explanation as to why)

High School Physics Teacher: 10/10 (worked every morning at 4 am with him)

Boss from Parkour Gym: 9/10 (interesting take on also being the CEO of his venture)
