How is it fair to blame us for constantly being on our phones?

We aren’t the ones that shaped the world into this. We aren’t the ones who designed the world with the idea that you’re always going to be on your phone. The world assumes that you have a phone and use it, and while I don’t necessarily agree with the way that a lot of teenagers use theirs, how is it fair for the generations before us to blame us for this when, 1) 90% of the time they’re just as bad and 2) they’re the ones who designed every god damn system like this! All I’m saying is that the way we use our phones really shouldn’t be our fault. We didn’t choose for the world to be like this
