$250 Wedze Skis?

Hi all! I’m a beginner skiier and I want to buy my own equipment. I’ve been renting for a while and it’s reached the point where I’ve spent more on rentals than new boots and skis cost. I’ve already bought boots (Atomic Hawx Magna 75 W) but now I’m looking at skis. My rentals have been Rossignol 142 cm and they were great. I can’t find the exact model that I was using, but I did stumble across these Wedze 150 cm. They say they’re good for beginners, which is good since I don’t want to buy intermediate skis yet. But the price is kind of concerning me. $250??? That’s cheaper than the boots I got. Does anyone know anything about this brand? Can skis be this cheap and still be okay? I’m a beginner so I really only need something basic, but I’m worried that this is a borderline scam.
