To all the recruiters
I know you all have to meet your deadlines & quotas. So you post on Linkedin, Jobstreet, Indeed etc. for formality. You interview external candidates for your quotas even though you have an internal applicant for promotion already waiting for their spot. For external interviewees, your demands are across-the-board impossible when it comes to experiences. You interview candidates and never get back to them again (some still have the courtesy to send rejection letters… after a few weeks.)
All I have to say to the recruiters is, I hope your lunch spoils easily. I hope your bed becomes hot at night. I hope you get stuck at traffic. I hope you get insomnia. I hope you get rejected by the people you flirt with when you go out in the club after a day of doing nothing at the office. I hope you have sleep paralysis and a charley horse cramp to match it. I hope you get pay disputes. I hope your shoes lose the glue on your way home. I hope your tires flat.
Amen.
