Why don’t we just keep Chris Paul?

It’s been a week since the trade that landed Chris Paul in the 6ix. However, he hasn’t actually landed in the 6ix since the team and him didn’t have interest in him actually suiting up

However, at this point, I’m questioning why the team doesn’t want him to play and also why he doesn’t wanna play for us.

I would understand why he wouldn’t wanna play if we were at the bottom of the standings but we’re a solid playoff team. Also, with all due respect, it does not seem like many teams actually want him so it’s not like he’s in a position to be picky

I think the team would benefit from having him play as he could mentor the young players (which is a role he is excelled in in the past few years) and we can give him a solid playoff run for his final year

What do you guys say? This is his final year so every day he misses is a day wasted of his retirement tour. I think he should just give us a chance and suit up so he can play as many games as he can for his final year.
