Location: South Carolina : To go or not to go?

So just needing a quick answer if an officer shows up and wants you to step outside to talk about something, but he’s being very evasive and acting very shady. When I already don’t trust cops in this small town and then I finally find out from another responding officer that it has something to do with just wanting to take me down to the station to ask a few questions and not to worry and then they will bring me back home like so, but I know a friend of mine that did the same type of thing in the same scenario, and she literally because she was wanting to be cooperative and nothing to hide, and which he did not invoke her right to remain silent and literally managed to walk and talk yourself writing the handcuffs so being that they did not have any type of paperwork or a warrant signed Even though they threaten to come back with that should I get in the car with them and go to the station or just tell them that I’ve already spoken to a legal council who advised me to not do anything until they come with a signed warrant which they probably won’t even end up doing
