Jerry Harvey Audio Jessie IEMs for performance and practice

Reviews/Impressions

Hello IEM community,

I play bass in a worship band and have used the Shure SE215 IEMs they provided for a couple years. I practice at home with big ‘ol headphones. I recently decided to get my own set and started researching. I see a ton of recommendations for brands I have never heard of but I am concerned that most are geared towards casual music listening. Ultimately my needs are for neutral tuning, comfort, and reliability. I purchased some Jerry Harvey Audio Jessie IEMs thinking they were affordable and made in USA by a brand I have heard of. Turns out they are made in China but I opened the package anyways so there’s no going back. I can’t give a full review at this time but I will say they look great, sound great (and neutral / natural, and feel great. The cord is a bit thinner than the Shures so that concerns me it maybe that’s ok. I just wanted to put my two cents out there since is almost zero information online for these and ask - are the popular Chinese brands more for casual listening or are they recommended for performers? I’ll add to my review after Sunday’s performance. Thank you for your thoughts!
