Privacy settings resetting after submitting them

I verified my account but I can't change my privacy settings back. When I try to change them on xbox it shows a customised privacy settings and whenever I try change it says "there is a temporary problem with the service please try again" whenever I try to do it on pc or mobile it will allow me to swap the settings but resets them after reloading the page
