Playing well with an unbalanced formation
I often like to study the modules used by pro players or, in any case, by the most experienced and talented players.
I try to put their teachings into practice with mixed results.
Obviously, I use meta formations, because the eFootball gurus say that if you don't use them, defeat is guaranteed.
Fine, but then what happens? What happens is that, going against all the rules of good play, I decide to field an obscenely unbalanced 4-4-2.
I won't tell you the team style and player style because the names are different in Italian, and anyway, you are all experienced enough to understand everything just by looking at the photo.
I removed the individual instructions and decided to use an automatic formation. Basically, eFootball chose the players with the highest overall rating for me... and that was that. An absurd and disgusting thing for any serious player.
And yet I tried it anyway, and the result was spectacularly fantastic.
I don't mean to say that this formation turned me into a champion, but I do mean to say that in addition to playing fantastic attacking football, I can also defend in a way that is impossible to believe. But how long can you play in such an unbalanced way?
Is this game not normal, or am I the one who's abnormal?
I like 4-4-2 with attacking full-backs because it gives me a lot of width, so I can attack in more ways, but I realise that I should make this team more balanced. What would you recommend?
