I have a question about Taxes

hello devil dogs, im currently in my school house in a holding platoon until march 23rd, i had a call with my dad and he was asking me if i have to pay taxes this year since its my first time recieving income in a way, im currently 18 and don't know anything about the adult world yet. and i wanted to know if im currently in my school house do i have to manually file my taxes or no?
