Post Launch Yvonne Guide - Alesh
*Before we get started, pls note this guide will be using relevant info from my research, as well as from my first hand testing. If you found from your own expereince that something is different then whats in this guide, let me know. Im trying to make this guide be as useful as possible for anyone who early pulled yvonne, or plans to pull for her once her banner goes live, so i have no issue making edits when needed. I also intend to comeback to this in 1.1 and make more updates if we get any new stuff that changes anything for yvonne.
I will be leaving rotation blank for now, since i havent been able to do enough testing of rotations yet (I plan to update this section withing the next few days). (If you have, pls comment them, and ill be sure to test it and edit the rotations section immediately)
Also, expect one of these for each of her actually not cope teams, to come out over the next 1-2 weeks. (I intend to do one for each of them).
Also, sorry if this isnt the best guide ever. Never made one before, but felt i should make one for this Adorable badass yet dorky pink haired girl.*
Okay, disclaimer done, onto the guide.
BREAKDOWN:
So the team this guide will cover is a new one, that wasnt a thing in the beta. It was only made possible by the rework to yvonne's kit. That team being: Yvonne (main dps) Xiahi (main sustain. Buffer, and main cryo inflictor) Gilberta (secondary sustain. Debuffer. Grouper, and reaction consumer) Alesh (sp battery, secondary cryo inflictor, buffer)
Alesh is a new face, that thanks to yvonne's rework is now a solid unit to pair with her, thanks to yvonne having two ways to apply an arts reaction, that being solidification. Now we just need a bridge for them, someone who can suck up that reaction, to proc alesh cskill. Currently the only good option as of 1.0 is gilberta, her cskill procs from both yvonne cskill and bskill, since it triggers from a reaction being applied, and both of them apply a reaction. From there gilberta's cskill consumers the arts reaction, solidification, thx to the lift. Theres the bridge.
This gives yvonne access to a decent sp battery, cutting down times between rotations by a sizeable margin. And giving her a unit that gives a near perminent uptime on thermite cutter and the frontier set, to give her even more damage through each rotation, and for each ult.
As for gilberta, she is the bridge between yvonne and alesh, thx to her cskill consuming yvonne's solidification. Her grouping with her bskill is also really nice for aoe content (and since her skill applies nature infliction, this can also be another inflict stack option for aoe content since it groups the enemies while inflicting all of them, setting up an aoe yvonne bskill burst, keeping in mind though that she will only count one of them for her ult charge).
As for xaihi, xaihi is xaihi. Bis for all cryo dps units for the forseeable future. Thx to her bskill, she can supply perminent uptime on eternal xiranite armor. Her ult also procs it. So ya. Enough said on xaihi. She is a 5 star, who is basically 6 star level good.
BUILD:
Yvonne: For yvonne her gear is one note and a shocker to literally no one, im sure. Its MI security as the 3p (Batk overalls, Batk gloves, and 2 crit% toolkits). There is a slight modification you can make to her gear, but its only worth doing over this, if you are using p5 navigator (and even then, this is still likely better. Cant say for sure since i dont have p5 navigator to test it). Changing the gloves to the crit% gloves, and changing a crit kit, to lynx slab.
For her weapon choices, she has 3. (Wedge, navigator and her sig). Sig outperforms wedge and navigator by a land slide (both at p5 lose out to a p0 sig for her, with wedge clocking in at a 94.87% effectiveness when p5. and navigator clocking in at roughly a 93.37% for her. While at p0 wedge comes out at 89.87% and navigator at 86.23%). This is to be expected, in this game dupes of characters and weapons arent as powerful as in other games. And her sig was designed to easily trump any other option for her.
For skill prio, she doesnt have one. Level all of them. They all do big damage. But if ya need to know what to prio your crown useage on, ult>batk>bskill>cskill.
Xaihi: For xaihi since she scales with intelect and will, wants her ult up a lot, and has perma amp with skill, the only 3pc to go is eternal xiranite. (T1 gloves, double auxiliary arms, and xiranite armor). Not much to say here. Her skill if it tries to heal you, and the controlled operator is full health, she instead amps, turning on the 3pc effect. Her ult also procs it. Her healing scales with will, and her ult amp scales with her int. So this set is flawless for her.
For her weapon options, she has 3. (Detonation unit, freedom, and her sig, that being chivalric) In most teams her sig will outperform the other two by a sizeable amount, and this team is no exception. But the other two are still solid on her in this team.
For skill prio, ult>bskill>cskill. Ignore batk. And dont worry about leveling cskill past 5. Cskill is only gaining damage from being leveled. And xaihi doesnt need to do damage.
Gilberta: Gilberta also wants a 3pc xiranite set. Though do to only her ult procing the 3pc effect, having a second unit with better uptime on it as well, is important (xaihi covers this). You get a massive amount of ult cd from this set, along with a solid amount of int. Thats why gilberta wants it. (Xiranite armor, t1 gloves, double aux arm).
For her weapon, similar to xaihi, she has a few options. Also, without sig it might be worth replacing xiranite armor piece for tidesurge armor for the ult efficiency it gives (her ult is crazy important to have for every yvonne ult) (Virtues, stanza, or sig) In most teams her sig will outperform the others. This team is no exception. But the other two are solid. As for the bp weapon, it is an option, but doesnt make the list for this team, since it relies on using bskill to proc it, and this team doesnt use the bskill enough to keep the bp weapon effect active.
For skill prio, ult>cskill>bskill. For this team, only level bskill to 5, since your only using it for enemy grouping, and not for damage. Ignore her batk.
Alesh: For Alesh he wants a 3 piece frontier set with an eternal xiranite off piece (Frontier armor t3, xiranite gloves, double 02 tubes) This set maxes out his int, to increase his combo skills chance of pulling a rare fin. This increases how much sp he recovers, and if you have him p3 then catching a rare fin also gives your team a 15% atk buff for 10s. Since his combo skill is up for every rotation, it also means that you have a near permanent uptime on the 3pc effect (the set is up for 15s, and gilberta cskill has a 20s cd, so if you time your rotation right, you can get the second rotation to line up so that as soon as the 3pc effect ends, your yvonne bomb is in the air, if you get the timing right, yvonne will land solid on them right as gil cskill comes off cd, to maximize clear time.
As for his weapon options. Sadly in this team he doesnt really have many. (Thermite cutter, fortmaker) Thermite cutter is a must for an sp battery, do to its sizeable atk% buff and long effect duration. But if you dont have it? Sadly the only option is a really underwhelming one, in fortmaker, which doesnt provide buffs to the team. Though unlike thermite cutter does provide int, as well as ult efficiency. Thermite easily will out perform fortmaker, its not even close. P5 fortmaker only clocks in at 76.78% of a p0 thermite. (I pray that your not like me, and currently forced to use fortmaker...... i pray that you have thermite).
For skill order, its ult>cskill. Bskill is mostly unused. There are scenarios were you'll use it, since it restores sp when it sucks up cryo inflict (more stacks equal greater refund). But this will only be while yvonne has a charged ulti already, and you want to parry an enemy for cheaper. But levels only affect the damage it does, and nothing else. So it isnt worth leveling.
