Adult Adoption in PA

Location: Pennsylvania

I searched the sub, but didn't find any relavent posts that were from PA.

I asked my non biological dad, who I've known for almost 30 years to adopt me a few years back and he was happy about it. I never pursued it though. I'm getting married in a few months and want to surprise him at our first look with the paperwork to file for an adult adoption.

Kind of a "make me officially yours before you give me away" thing.

I know we will have to file, and go to court later on. But I still want to at least do the first steps on my wedding day. I've tried Google and all of the forms I can find on the PA government site are for minors.

To answer questions I saw in the other post, neither of us are dying, mentally incapacitated, or trying to bank off the other's death. it's a straightforward he's been there my whole life and he deserves the title.

If anyone knows where I can get the forms, I'd be so appreciative!
