Salmon had pink liquid and was kind of soft. Is it still safe to eat?

I bought it from Walmart yesterday and it turned out a bit slimy from pink liquid leaking out. It's sell by date is tomorrow (the 12th). There was a mild fishy odor but jot super pungent. The fish broke after baking.
