Chocolate Covered Strawberries for valentine’s day

hello! i was wanting to make my gf chocolate covered strawberries for valentine’s day and was thinking about making them this evening as that’ll be the best time for me to make them! i’ll be seeing her tomorrow night around 8:30-9, but was wondering if they would be able to survive the 3 and a half hour drive it takes to get there! they would be refrigerated before my trip, but my main concern is them melting or being ruined/tasting gross by the time i get there. any advice would be appreciated! if it’s not super possible they would be able to sustain the drive, then i guess i’ll go the store bought strawberry route, even if it means losing the sentiment of home making them.
