Chip - repair or not

Hey all.

Just noticed a chip on the heel of my shindo.

It seems bad but also in a place I don't usually use.

I'm thinking I should just leave it as a proper repair would lose height and require thinning the whole blade?

I don't rock chop with this blade, any guesses how it may have happened
