How can I beat gogmazios

Phases 1 and 3 of the fight feel like an utter trainwreck where I have to somehow dodge an arena wide attack from a boss I physically cannot see because it is so huge and so fast. Complerely don't know where I should be standing because anytime I reposition I'm in range of that sweeping oil/fire beam, body slam, or Gogmazios simply leaps all the way to the other side of the arena forcing me to call my seikret.

Completely lost track of how many times I've carted to this oily abomination and any advice I see online is just the shit that the game regurgitates 1,000 times (use dragon/fire weapons, use the hanging boulders, lava vents, dragonators and such). The 3rd phase DPS check feels insane, I'm landing every single anti-wyvern gun I find for around 500 damage (trying to hit the wings feels inefficient as they're very hard to hit, I just aim for the head/body) but even despite that I'm not outputting enough damage. It's annoying having to look up at an unreasonably agile monster with a controller while simultaneously avoiding the plethora of exploding oil globs on the ground.

My DPS feels fine, landing for 60 damage at the lowest with S&S so failing the DPS check has me even more confused.
