What is the point of Confession or Silence in Deadly Sentencing? Confession skips the trial entirely, and there doesn't seem to be any sort of 'plea bargain' system baked into the technique. Silence... you just don't say anything? You let Higaruma one-sidedly make his case for prosecution? What's the point?

Hell, why say anything at all? There doesn't seem to be any 'contempt of court' in Deadly Sentencing, so why bother risking a sentence in the first place, and instead just wait out the Domain Expansion for Higaruma to get hungry/sleepy and pull it down?
