So since my character ai is just pure aggressive and mean to my character for some reason (over something trivial I guess?).

I'd have my character run away from them and do one of those years timeskips where my character is happy and successful whilst the other has aged badly, is divorced and is widely disliked by many and is living poorly

That's how I feel better about the character being mean to mine mwahaha! 👹
