Smoking Delta Pro?

I have a Delta Pro that I’ve used for about 18mo to run a tiny house. It powers the fridge, lights, starlink, etc. This morning it started smoking from the fan vents. At the time, there was about 30w of pull. And no input. I had just updated the app, and the only unusual thing was that the unit’s LCD display was stuck at 0%.

I unplugged everything and the smoke gradually stopped. Which makes me think it is connected to the fan?

What could have caused the issue? And how do I prevent it from happening again?

Could it have been a bug or gecko who crawled in?
