Can we give Anran's voice the same respect we gave to her face model?

But if the voice actor says Anran is supposed to be fierce and not gentle, then could she at least act that fierceness?

As a native Chinese speaker, her Mandarin sounds like someone doing a language challenge on TikTok, let alone carry any real emotion or fierceness.

If you care this much about keeping the character consistent, why not hire a professional voice actor—instead of someone you picked randomly, who just changed their Twitter bio flag from a pride flag to a Chinese flag to show off her American-Chinese indentity.

On top of that, when this voice actress Fareeha was streaming on Twitch, I tried to interact with her in Chinese in a completely calm and polite way.

I simply asked if she can speak Chinese in daily life, and if there was any chance Anran’s Mandarin lines would be re-dubbed.

She immediately banned me for no reason.

I can guarantee my words were completely peaceful and had zero hostility.

I suspect she doesn’t understand a single word of Chinese and just assumed I was another Chinese person criticizing her, simply because I wrote in Chinese.

So much for her respect for Chinese culture—respect that extends to not even being able to read or understand the language.
