3 months to Gateway but travel opportunity

I have roughly 3 months until my gateway period and then EPA for level 5 operational management apprenticeship. I have done a year so far and already have a degree in business management. I have the opportunity to go travelling, something I’ve always wanted to do but it is quite time sensitive. Should I quit and go travelling or stay miss the opportunity but get the qualification? I feel I must add that I have been falling a bit behind with the modules and have struggled motivating myself but I fear the regret of not staying the extra few months..
