Miele C1 Cat + Dog for $663 vs Sebo E3 for $1049

1800 square feet, ~800 of which is bedrooms and a hallway carpeted with medium-pile, and low-pile carpeted stairs, too. (No uprights, please. My Dyson in my old house almost friggin killed me many, many times.)

Two cats, one toddler. Most carpet on one floor except, of course, the stairs. We’re probably doing a mop bot for downstairs, so not concerned there.

I visited our local sew & vac store and demoed a few vacuums. They’re running a sale, so everything’s a little lower than MSRP. The Sebo E3 is my top pick, but they’re running a pretty steep discount on the Miele C1 because it’s end-of-stock. It’s a pretty significant cost difference, so I’m curious what the vacuum enthusiasts would say here. Go for the steal or the top pick?
