Trust

I never spoke about this, but I remember briefly having a dream of the Rapture.

Backstory,

I used to work for Amazon and I was a sub contractor delivering packages. Normally if you are a subcontractor, you will need to go to a warehouse and pick up multiple packages. In this dream, I can recall me driving a van (which is normal) to the warehouse to go pick up the packages. Normally, we have to scan the packages with our device that is provided to us by our boss. On this particular day, it was cloudy, but I paid no mind to it since our job requires us to work in all types of weather. As I was coming out with my cart, I began to load all the packages into the van thinking it’s going to be a long day. As I was loading the van, I hear a loud trumpet and just by hearing that I already knew what was going to happen. I can feel my soul crying out for God. As I step out of the vehicle I look up, I see Jesus coming down in a cloud with all his angels. Heaven opened up right in front of my eyes. I can feel my soul scared of not knowing what will happen next. As a Christian, we are never perfect and I acknowledge that but the fear always arise if I am worthy to be in the presence of God, let alone be in his kingdom.

Ultimately, I ended up waking up and I never spoke about this to anyone. Do I know why- no? This happened about two years ago and I just never spoke to anyone about it and now since I am laying in my bed and just thinking of how I can be able to be in God’s presence, this memory came into my mind.

Glory be to God I know I am not perfect and I know that God loves me for who I am. But I will never forget that feeling of fear. Fear of not knowing where I will end up or fear if I haven’t lived in God’s sovereign will. I struggle on a daily basis just trying to trust in God and trying to put him first, but it has been difficult since I always want to keep everything in control. I’m trying to learn how to let go and let God be the vessel in my life, but I always fall short.

With this dream that came into my mind, I can’t help but to think that this is going to eventually happen, we just don’t know when. Jesus can come whenever whether it be today tomorrow next week next month or next year. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it is never too late to repent turn back to God. Trust me, you are not alone. I struggle every day and trying to let go and let God take control but as a human being we are so used to just having everything in control. And I am one of them.
