Unhinged advice to survive corporate hell
I’m stuck in a corporate job mid-restructuring. High pressure, total chaos. Work from several people who left got dumped on me with zero onboarding. Expectations are wild, support is zero.
My manager’s management style is criticism, shifting expectations, and being straight-up mean to me.
For some personal reasons I have to stay at this job at least a few more months, so quitting isn’t an option now.
I don’t want normal advice. I want unhinged coping strategies.
- How do I emotionally detach while still performing “good enough”?
- What delusional, main-character mindset do I adopt to stop caring about whatever disaster is coming next?
I need to mentally clock out while physically clocking in.
