Kids throwing rocks and ice at bicyclist and delivery drivers

Hi, I was riding on queens Blvd not too far from the white castle off the bridge and have noticed kids throwing chunks of rocks and ice at bicyclists, delivery drivers, and cars. I Confronted them and they seemed scared off and walked away but just curious what would you do? and especially if one of them hit you.
