Hello everyone, good to be back at work.

Those 10 days away from my computers taught me one thing: I’ve basically rewired my brain and I can’t really rest if I’m not working every day. The trip was way more draining than I expected, and I ended up sleeping a lot whenever I could squeeze in a few hours. I’m a bit annoyed I didn’t get as much script done as I wanted, but hey, I’m back in the cave now.

First up: this is Olive in the picture. I changed her hair a while back and totally forgot to mention it. This version fits her head better and is way easier to work with than the previous one. She’ll still rock the tied-up ponytail look sometimes, but now I can swap between both versions without any hassle.

I got back home Monday afternoon and properly got to work on Tuesday, and honestly, it’s been a super productive six days. Before I left, I was working on two lewd scenes. One was paused right before the animation stage, and the other was still in progress.

On Tuesday, I hit the animation stage on the second scene too. Both queues were empty, so I wanted to refill them with static renders and get rolling on animations right away.

Good news: I managed to finish the first lewd scene completely on Saturday. My pace really improved with animations. This one was a pretty cinematic scene and I’m happy with how it turned out. The animations look solid.

Right now I’m working on a smaller scene. I’ve got about 15 renders left to create, then I’ll jump into animations for the last lewd scene of Day 1 in Episode 5. If all goes well, I should be done by Friday or Saturday.

Even better: once that scene is done, I’ll be roughly 33% finished with the 3D work for this episode. Timing-wise, we’re still on track.

Anyway, numbers time

Static renders: 1,180

Animations: 47

Story content: 27 scenes written (21,355 words)

I wrote about 9,000 words of dialogue while I was away. Not as much as I wanted, but it’s still decent. I’ve already got a bunch of scenes written ahead, so I can focus on hammering out 3D content for a while.

Also, 92 renders and 18 extra animations in only six days is really good in my book.

This week should be lighter on renders since I’ll be mostly animating. After that, we move into Day 2 of the episode, and I’ll need to design a bunch of new characters, Fang’s friends she mentioned back in Episode 4. There are eight of them.

On top of that, I need to prep costumes for around 30 people for the Halloween party, so yeah, it’s going to be a busy one. Luckily my buddy BatmanSid is covering the assets, because they’re absurdly expensive and he's just nice like that.

Anyway, that’s it for this last two-week devlog. I’m really excited to be back at work. I’ve also got a special announcement coming next week. Nothing huge, but it’s really important to me, so keep an eye out.

Have a great week, everyone.
