Help! How to get fragrance out of clothing and washer tub

Hi all, I am desperate for any guidance! I am extremely sensitive to fragrances and limonene irritates me so we only uses fragrance free beauty and household products. My partner got a massage at a new location and they used a very fragrant lotion for it (our normal location uses unscented oil). It made his clothes stink like lemon and sugar. I had him put them in the washer so we could shut the door because they smelled so badly but I realized my mistake a few hours later that they just filled the washer tub with the smell and it was too late to run the washer at that point. My next mistake was to leave them in there over night. I’ve run the washer on hot water with vinegar three times and the clothes still smell. I’ve also wiped down the drum with vinegar. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA!
