Snippet of the last chapter!

"Staring back at Aerol was the darkness of the Hidden Woods. It was like facing his greatest fear; everything from his childhood was deep within these trees, like a monster with long claws and a deep thirst for his blood. He wanted to turn back, to make a run for the hills, to never step a paw into the Hidden Woods and forget all about his past. But how could he? With King Blacktail chasing after him, it would be a matter of time before he caught up. And then when that happens? It’s game-over.

Aerol takes in a breath. The wind rushed through the conifers and through his fur, chilling him down to his core. He knew he couldn’t stay still for long; taking a step forward could either save him or kill him.

“Running will get you nowhere..” The raspy voice of King Blacktail echoed behind him. He had no choice.

Taking a moment to regulate his thoughts, he took off into the abyss of the Hidden Woods."
