More than a few years old

question

Have always had travel trailers or popups but thinking of 5-10 years of retirement on the road, mid 60's. Bought a new travel trailer a couple years ago and with 3 cats, truck and car just thinking its all too complicated. If we just sold everything and went with a class A motorhome and one car life could be really carefree.

So looking at new middling 35'ish rigs seems like they really are about 200k for something you would live in and those really dont seem like a much better finsh than my travel trailer. Its ok but nothing special and light weight cheesy side.

If I go to 2018-2020 the number seems to drop to about 80-90 and the rigs seem to have 40-70k miles. Some lower and some higher but around 50k.

One thing that caught my eye is going to about a 2016 35' Bounder for example, had a much better finish and more options. Found one that had 40k miles, a full bath in bedroom and small 1/2 bath by kitchen, washer dryer, three slides and seemed really nice and asking is 70k.

I have never had a motorhome and just have no point of reference. Had 4 travel trailers and sold three of them when they were about 7 years old and they were in good shape as I fixed stuff as I went.

Would appreciate input. New seems over priced, 2020-2022 get a big discount on those rigs and dropping to 10 years seems to get much higher end coaches with more features but now you have a ten year old RV.
