Moved to mac

Recently my HP omen 16 broke out nowhere both nvme failed somehow and my work stopped (full stack development) it had 32 gigs of ram but the laptop was 3-4kilos including charger. I decided to buy a MacBook at this point looking up at the marketplace I found a MacBook Pro 14" M3 Pro 36GB/1TB the battery was 100% but the display was changed by apple it also has 1 year of apple care remaining. Got it for $1650 converted from my local currency. Today was my first day using it and to my surprise laptop battery lasted more than a full working day usually I need to connect a charger while I'm working but I had the same work experience as well as no jet engine fan noises. Just want to know if it was a fair deal also let me know any tips on usage or something I should now as I'm new to this. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
