Hotel for the Bar

Have to book my hotel for the bar soon and my firm told me they would reimburse me for the cost if I just forward them the invoice. There's one hotel near the bar location that I've heard most people stay at, but it'll be like $600 for 2 nights. There are other cheaper spots nearby but like... I wanna stay at the nice one lol especially if the firm is paying for it.

Unsure if that would be a bad look on me though. It's not a big law firm, it's mid but has several hundred lawyers up and down the coast and like 10 offices. I know they could afford it, but just unsure if I should just book the cheaper hotel for the sake of propriety. Don't wanna seem like I'm taking advantage of them but again it's close to the testing center spot and most students stay there.
