Placenta previa
this isn't for medical advice this is for personal experience stories and some opinions
I found out we have a partial placenta previa
first baby
21 weeks
doctor has me on pelvic restrictions but nothing crazy yet, she says it needs to move up 2.5 cm before our due date and is cautiously optimistic.
I am already terrified of birth.
now I am afraid of bleeding to death during birth too 😅
Questions:
did yours go away?
how did you deal with this mentally because I am scared of moving wrong now?
and would you opt for a C section even if it moved up the 2.5 inches to not risk hemorrhaging?
I'm considering just having them schedule me regardless as I feel less afraid of the surgery than I do bleeding out.
my OB was seriously vague at my appointment yesterday and left my husband and I kinda shocked/speechless. I have another appointment and scan next month so I'll touch base with my questions then.
Bonus question:
have you had your tubes tied during your C section how was the recovery and how long did you have to wait to hold your baby after surgery? the last person I know doing this was 20 years ago and I'm curious if it's changed.
